ABOUT NEXTERA
We came from inside the industry. We know exactly where the money is being taken from you.
Nextera was not built in a boardroom. It was built by two people who spent years working inside biogas plants, industrial supply chains, and offshore operations — watching the same inefficiency repeat itself at every level.
The markup is not accidental. It is structural. OEMs protect it. Distributors depend on it. And operators pay for it every single month without knowing it exists.
We built Nextera to burn that model down.
We are not here to charge you for slide decks and strategy sessions. We are here to find the money you are losing and put it back in your business.
Fixed retainer. No markup. No conflict of interest. No old-school consulting theatre. Just transparent, commercially serious supply chain work by people who have lived it from the inside.
OUR TEAM
Two co-founders. Complementary expertise. One sector focus.
Founder — Supply Chain Performance
15+ years across heavy industry, offshore oil and gas, and biogas upgrading operations. Former production manager and assistant plant manager with direct experience on both the operational and procurement side of industrial supply chains.
Previously led after-sales and spare parts procurement for a major biogas upgrading unit manufacturer — managing supplier relationships, sourcing strategy, logistics, and pricing across a European client base. That position sits at the exact intersection of where OEM markup is created and where it can be dismantled.
The Nextera procurement model exists because of one simple truth: operators are paying distributor chain markup on components that can be sourced directly. The savings are real. The process is transparent. The retainer model means there is no incentive to inflate anything.
Co-Founder — Sustainability & ESG
An operations background that started inside biogas plants before transitioning into the compliance and sustainability sector. This is not a sustainability generalist who learned the energy sector from a framework document — it is a specialist who understands the operational realities that sustainability reporting has to accurately reflect.
Leading Nextera's sustainability practice with a dual focus — investor-facing ESG advisory for funds and holding companies, and operator-facing compliance reporting for plant operators. The combination matters because in an investor-backed biogas operation, the fund's reporting requirement and the operator's compliance obligation are almost always the same conversation.
Currently serving active biogas sector clients. This is a live practice, not a pilot.
HOW WE WORK
Three principles. Non-negotiable.
Transparency is a commercial mechanism, not a values statement
We don't mark up components we source. We don't have preferred supplier relationships that influence recommendations. Every saving we identify is verifiable. Every supplier decision is visible to the client. This is not an ethical position — it is a business model that only works if yours does first.
Low-disruption is a design principle, not a reassurance
We build every engagement around your current operational reality. Improvement happens within the constraints of live operations. We don't recommend changes that create more problems than they solve. If we can't improve your situation without disrupting it, we say so.
Sector depth over service breadth
We work in biogas and renewable infrastructure because that is where our experience is real and our network is deep. We will not take engagements where we are pretending to know things we don't. The work is better that way — and so are the results.
